Hi, I’m Ruby!

I’m on a mission to get people talking more confidently and inclusively about sex.

I’m an accredited sex educator through Acet UK, and an ambassador for Brook, the UK’s leading sexual health charity. I create spaces to learn, celebrate, and overcome shame - on social media, and beyond.

I’m curious to have the conversations many shy away from, with a nuanced perspective that holds inclusion and sex positivity at the very core. I also centre pleasure and joy in our conversations about sex! My work is shaped by my experiences as a queer, non-monogamous, dual-heritage person. My pronouns are she/they.

Sex Rated

I’m the resident sexpert on Sex Rated (2023), a new studio series hosted by Rylan Clark, where open-minded people are reunited with their exes, for the biggest relationship debrief of their lives. As well as providing expert guidance and sexy tips on screen, I’m also a Script Consultant on the series. Produced by Mighty Productions for E4.
Sex Ed: A Guide for Adults

In 2020 my debut book Sex Ed: A Guide for Adults was published by Bloomsbury and illustrated by the incredible Sofie Birkin - a kind, inclusive guide to everything you need to know about sex and pleasure.

From voicing a polyamorous mouse in an award-winning short film, to providing inclusive advice on sexual health and all things pleasure as an on screen expert and script consultant.
Podcast

In Touch was released in 2022, produced by Bea Duncan at Broccoli Productions. The docu-series intimately explores the ways we connect to sex, relationships, and our bodies with nuance and curiosity.
Sexy Sermons

Working in collaboration with The Hale Arts, this series of online and live events brings sex nerds together for a silly, educational time. Topics include non-monogamy, bisexual big sister advice, and what it means to be a slut.
Brook

As a proud ambassador for Brook, the UK’s leading sexual health charity, I host a series of interviews across Brook channels, provide internal training, and mentour Brook volunteers.
Body Love Sketch Club

A life drawing class with a twist! Co-founded by Rosy Pendlebaby and I in 2018, everyone is invited to pose (nude or clothed) as well as draw, to explore our relationship with bodies and creativity in a celebratory setting.
